Fan speed
commissioning control
Sentry door curtain is available with fan switches to provide a wide range of
fan speeds for commissioning.
On/off switch with an indicator lamp
Coarse fan speed commissioning switch (3 position)
Fine fan speed commissioning switch (3 position)
Optional remote on/off switch (flush or surface wall mounting)
Optimum control strategy
Sentry door curtain heats recirculated air, which is maintain at a
set temperature for the air curtain to operate satisfactorily. The supply air temperature
is controlled by varying heat output and/or air flow rate, to ensure the supply air is at
optimum temperature for effective operation.
There are four control schemes offered as standard:-
Type 1 - Hot water heating (Waterside control
only)
Type 2 - Hot water heating (Waterside and fan
speed control)
Type 3 - Electric heating (Element voltage control only)
Type 4 - Electric heating (Element voltage and fan speed control)
Hot water
heating valve
Water flow rate through the heating coil is controlled by a PN16
DN20 4 port valve (3 port plus bypass). The valve has a Kv 4.00, and is sized to suit all
applications for Sentry air curtain using LTHW as the heating medium. A 24VAC actuator is
fitted to the valve to modulate the valve position.
Special controls
Other controls can be fitted to Sentry air curtains, such as remote
switches, relays, door interlocks etc, to suit particular applications. Contact
